The True Reality of Competition...

A total lark here for most of you, but what are your thoughts on this?

A young Red Sox fan goes up to a Rookie New York Yankee to get his autograph - he gets it, along with the words "RED SOX SUCK!" written above it!

Are we looking at what is the true nature of that (the Rex Sox vs. the Yankees) or are we looking at a young up and coming superstar wanting to grind the face of a young "enemy fan" into the dirt for fun?

Is it deeper? Is it now being blown out of proportion?

If it was a Cub rookie doing it to a young Cardinals fan, what would you think?

Earth To Public Officials - Time to Evict Urges...

I shall once again preface this with the usual disclaimer distancing me from those that "represent" and "work within the system." I have never nor shall I ever proposition people in public restrooms, or be involved on any level with a Federal sting on those having sex with minors.

That being said - how stupid can people be?

Yet another high-profile sexual deviant has been showcased on the usual suspects news outlets both on and offline in an undercover sting, this time apparently "netting" a Federal Prosecutor on his way to have sex with a child.

While you should completely understand the context of this next comment, remember, I'm not kidding:

Didn't the public, almost literal flogging in the last month of Senator "I'm Not Gay" Craig provide any kind of signal for this gentleman that it was high time to change the fundamental workings of his life? It is just simply beyond me how people can see people "pulled over by the authorities in their lives" to varying degrees and then just continue to do whatever it is they're doing until they too are caught in the middle with their pants literally down around their ankles.

What do all of YOU think about things like this? Is it just the proverbial tip "showing through" or are we literally seeing the end-game of what is clearly self-destructive personalities being showcased as the firey end of what is a couple of polyps on the colon of American governing bodies?

Ironclad Thinking...

Hello, my name is Mike and I'm a Jon Favreau Addict.

It doesn't happen often but I really do like it when it does.

There is a movie that should be on everyone's watch list.

It's not because it's a comic book movie:

It's not even because it's a Marvel property.

It's because it's directed by a gentleman named Jon Favreau, and he, folks, is a master of marrying real, in-camera effects with (a much lesser amount of) CGI effects, and he simply does not fail.

There is a little film finishing up in several effects houses across the nation that you desperately need to ensure is on your schedules to see - it's called "IRON MAN" and folks - entertainment awaits.

IRON MAN's trailer is online and thanks to AINTITCOOL.Com for posting the initial details about this trailer.

HE IS IRON MAN...
