Mechanical Beeping in Sequence

Ticking Clock begins...

Rush's Tom Sawyer, mean mean stride makes it's melodious melodied way from a classic car where two youngin's are sharing a joint. Suddenly, the ground rumbles and the windows blow out of the joint next to their car! Of course the young man gets out to investigate. Lights, lighting, more strange power emanations and more broken glass pepper the area, but the young man continues! He eventually finds a room, where blobs of energy are - energating, growing, into something - alive! The young man grabs a metal pipe and curiously sticks it into the growing blob of semi-protoplasm and Snnnap! An already grown and terribly ugly, standing, angry and strong figure snaps (neck cracks) his neck! A tri-speared plug is secured to the now very dead young man's soft pallet, the other end? Secured to what we now clearly know is a shape shifter (shifterrrrrrrr). The device between the two connections engages and quickly, and horribly, the very young shape shifter becomes a now not dead version of the very dead young man! The Shifter Young Man heads back to the car where the young lass has stayed and is scared - but is suddenly even more scared as she too is put to death (neck cracks) and taken over!

Budda-budda-buum.. Dooopa-dooda-doopa, da doodoo doopa doooa...

Walter Bishop is yet again rearranging his wall photos! Peter says that they all look just fine and that staying up all night is a bit strange, on the fringe perhaps! He tries to coax Walter out of his "strange several-week situation" with the potential cooking of a pie! But, Walter Bishop wants to talk. It's something Peter deserves to know. You see, every living thing dies and (cell phone rings) Dammit! The dreaded cell phone! It's Agent Dunham who again has a situation hereby interrupting Walter's painful parlay to provide Peter with the perplexing, unthinkable pravda of his origin! Maybe next time, right?

The Transcript of The 2GuysTalking: 24 Podcast's "24-in-60+!" for Season 8's 24!

24 in 60+ - Season 8's Episode 18 of the Hit Fox Show, 24!

(The buttons of a special, technological wonder machine beep, and a ticking clock engages! A cartoony voice bellows, "24 in 60!")

Sexy Agent Walker has died! A truly somber way to start this 18th episode of Season 8 of the hit fox show 24! Jack has a touching moment with a nurse that is ushering him out of the operating room and is greeted by another nurse who has stolen clothing from an intern (clothes flap in the wind) so as to clothe now barefooted, bloody-shirted jilted post-coital hero Jack Bauer! The crisp silence is broken (incredibly loud, pointed cell phone ring) by the ear splitting sparkplug like ringing of his cell phone! (incredibly loud, pointed cell phone ring) It's Chloe with intel! She's sorry, he's angry, and there's a whole lot of ass-kickin comin' on! (The 2GuysTalking: 24 Podcast Tone rings out, a crowd cheers, delighted)

Basaev, the Russian father is due to stand trial less than a day after he was caught! Amazing! Jacks on his way to see and talk to him to find out who DID this to Renee, Dammit!

Ethan is back in politicians clothing consulting again President Taylor! she tells him that Logan has already on his way to talk to the slimy russian envoy!

Logan enthusiastically greets Nikoslavoimasonovobitch and SHINES! It's great to see local be a true craftsman with information! This information? THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT stopped the peace process including Nikoslavoimasonovobitch to stall the peace process by having President Hassan MURDERED! The price of LOGANs silence? Nikoslavoimasonovobitch must attend and paricipate in the peace talks! Ha! Back to the table for the Russians, (Soccer stadium crowd-like chat begins, a play-by-play announcer calls) Goaaaaalllll Charles LOGAN! GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!

Jack Bauer arrives, somehow freshly in court, where (Basaev) The Russian Father is awaiting trial. Along with Basaev in this early court session are his wife, daughter-in-law and grandson. Bail is DENIED! Counsel wants 5 minutes to chat with his client - Court is CLEARED! Only Bauer, Basaev and the BAILFF remain! The conversation? (whispering, loudly) JACK WILL KILL ALL OF HIS FAMILY unless he gets told who shot Sexy Agent Walker! (Bird singing sound effects) Basaev SINGS LIKE A BIRD! It was the Russian Government! Bastards! All of it, they were behind it all! The woman working with them planned it all! Her name? (drumroll) DANA/Jenny/Mole Walsh! >GASP!<>

Charles Logan (schoolboy-like giggle) is GIDDY AS A SCHOOL BOY!(schoolboy-like giggle) Why? President Taylor calls to thank him for getting the Russians back to the peace table with pen in hand! Whoohooo! (schoolboy-like giggle) Charles Logan considers his door to potential US prestige RE-OPENED! Ha! Idiot! (Glass Breaks)

Agent Cole suddenly is told by Chloe that in addition to his fiancee' being a liar, a murderer, an undercover operative who weasels her way into eveyrone's interests both in personal and business circles, a middle layer of lazy storytelling for the hit fox show 24 in season 8, AND one of the now storied too many who have become a mole in the realm of 24, she is also - guilty of working with the Russians to kill President Hassan and to smuggle nuclear material into New York to irradiate it! Bah! That's gotta' sting, man! Boy, some guys just can pick em, eh? (laughing)

Charles Logan learns of Jacks newfound involvement and his eye (Ricoche sound) - begins to - twitch (jerky voice) - like it did - several seasons agoooooo. Ahhhhhh! It's time to ask President Taylor to intervene and shut down Jack Bauer!

(Tires screech into place) Jack Bauer arrives at CTU and is about to put the literal screws to Dana/Jenny/Mole! Ahh, screw the screws! How about some old fashion fisticuffs! Jack introduces she who is also Starbuck into the luscious set decorator's table top inside interrogation room 5! (Cartoony BONK! sound) Jack bludgeons 1 (open hand smack sound) - 2 (open hand smack sound) - 3 (open hand smack sound) - 4 (open hand smack sound) times with the most striking open backhand since the days of McEnroe and Dana/Jenny/Mole - spills the beans! (Boung sound!) Well almost! For yet another initiated and verified immunity deal, she'll open up the faucet of foundational knowledge and bring the whole deck of cards crashing down! (Thund sound)

President Taylor is told that Sexy Agent Walker is dead - by Charles Logan?! Jack Bauer is intent on interrogating Dana/Jenny/Mole Walsh oh - and by the way, The Russian Government is completely behind the introduction of the Nuclear Material and y'know the - whole uh, murder of the President Hassan thing. That too. Bottom line! If Jack Bauer blows the whistle, the the peace process falls apart! (first portiong of boat sinking alarm initiates) Now or never, Allison!!! (last portion of boat sinking alarm screams, echoes)

The phone at CTUNY rings and - holy schnikes! It's President Taylor who is on her way and she arrives in a short 21 seconds! (Ricochet) The President arriveth! (President Taylor's voice) Thank you to all of you during this long day for your work, your vigilance and ability to never sleep, go to the bathroom and oh - for living in perpetual fear of the server room of death. (Sniffing) By the way, what is that rotting Parole Officer in the wall panel smell? (laughing)

She meets with Jack Bauer alone and makes the urgent plea to Jack to stand down.Peace is back on track. flowers are blooming, my complexion is clear, Ethan's back from yet another stroke, and hey - we're not irradiated! All is good, Jack! The greater good Jack! Come on, move on! Hassans Widow has! Everyone's doin' it. Was Renee really that great anyway? You had a piece Jack, now let the world have peace! Do you understand!? I'm sending you via helicopter to an out of the way air force base because of course that's the best place for you right now in the storyline. No escaping and going rogue, now. DO YOU UNDERSTAND, JACK?

Jack Bauer's voice says "yes" but his thirst for justice and to make the last 6 hours of the hit Fox show EVER also a hit require something with a bit more kick! (horse whinneys)

(Helicopter fades into the foreground) Falcon 1, a helicopter-based aerial recon lands at CTU to pick up one Jack Bauer, to head to McGuire Air Force Base for debrief! But first!? Jack Bauer-based Helicopter Hijack Hi-jinx! Whoohooo! It's time for Jack to go rogue - again! And as an intern is sent to a payphone to notify the Air Force that they need to neutralize on Jack Bauer in a helicopter, the boop beep boop beep continues...

Now that you've read it, listen to it now!

Pulling Out the Funny from the Constantly Tragic...

Hello: My name is Mike and I am a serial television series addict.

(crowd says, "Hello, Mike...")

For the last 5 years, I have been breaking down each and every adventure of the venerable, almost super-hero character, Jack Bauer and his hit adventures of 24. While our hour-long discussion 24-centric podcasts truly have fueled me for that time, there is a little bit of golden magic that I am so grateful to "endure" for each of those episodes.

It's called "The 24-in-60+!", a quick and humorous general "review" of each and every episode of "24", corralling all of the pertinent goings-on inside a 44-minute episode in just a few minutes!

This most recent hour of 24 helped me realize just what a gargantuan task creating something quick, funny and entertaining from the generally tragic is. You see, in the last 15 hours, Jack has been separated from his remaining family, shot at, tortured by electrocution, beat on (fists, phone books and twisted rebar remnants) incessantly, been lied to by every manner of person on the planet, survived a point-blank suicide bomber vest, had sex for the first time in over 3 and a half years, and held his newfound-just-had-sex-five-minutes-ago girlfiend as she lays dying from a sniper's bullet.

Oh yeah, and last hour, Jack survived and protected a family from a 12-man covert wet operations team assault in an effort to capture a visiting foreign dignitary (President Hassan of the clearly-fictional "Kamistan") who was eventually taken, and had his throat slit as showcased on a live, Internet anywhere/everywhere station for all to see.

And those are just the last two hours. :) As you can see there's something to creating a complete series of episode synopses that not only entertain, not only give the details you need to understand what you may have just watched, but that also entertain and make you laugh while conveying language, lexicon and FUN inside of our 2GuysTalking: 24 Podcast run.

It's all coming to an end soon! Just 6 more episodes left and now is the time for YOU to check out the "24-in-60+!" for the last season of 24 and jump aboard as we scream towards not only the end of a series, but the end of the Jack Bauer era. Click here to check out the 2GuysTalking: 24 Podcast series now and be sure to tell us what you think of both our 24-in-60+! episodes, and our complete series review podcasts. We are ALWAYS interested in hearing what others think and now is a great time to send us input! We're compiling input for our "All Fan Input" show that will take place shortly after the last 24Podcast.Com effort is recorded.

Thanks to everyone that already listens and also to those of us who will eventually listen. We always appreciate your time and effort and are proud to create something that entertains, engages and showcases the passions of heroes, story and more.

LOST is FOUND - With the LOSTChatter Podcast...

Alright, fine - I'll admit it.

I am not (yet) a LOST Fan. I watched the first two seasons of the program and as much as I like the intrigue, drama, and gooney smokeyness of "the monster" I just wasn't being handed anything I thought I was getting anything from. My two orphaned LOST DVD sets still sit in my theater's collection racks as we speak.

There IS however new energy in seeing what will happen on LOST. Why? Because the show's about to end, that's why. Fans have been wondering how the program is going to "end", what the answers to the now hundreds of questions will be, and just what kind of (if any) satisfaction we're going to derive from this program that has harness the attention of so many across the world.

There's a podcast that's been around for years that I've had the fortune to have in my podcast stable of programming at The 2GuysTalking Podcast Network that is not only getting stellar download totals, but offers up TRUE salient thought about the things most people DON'T talk about in other LOST-based podcast. It's called LOSTChatter, headed up by Erik Blythe, and what I've taken from it is that this is much more a COMPANION podcast, than just some stupid episode review program. In addition to giving you the thought of the program's weekly installments, they also take the time to to crack open the other not-so-straightforward clamshells that the program offers and talk about THOSE as well. Thsi factor is what, in my opinion, has made the podcast the hit that it is and continues to be.

Here's the most recent informational insert from their most recent show:

"Things are starting to come together now! Desmond may be the key to everything, but what does that mean exactly? And are the Widmores manipulating things behind the scenes? Join us as we look at the great reveals from this week's episode and discuss the new questions it presents."

Take time to listen to this great LOST-based podcast via The 2GuysTalking Podcast Network and be sure to add to the discussion they provide. Feedback is ALWAYS coveted by podcasters and trust me: the discussion that you have with Erik and company will be one to remember.

Get Bit By the Bloggers Bug! Kah-Runch!

Greetings, everyone!

My name is Mike Wilkerson and I am the creator of Bloggers Bug.

I have been utilizing the Internet since the early 90's and have loved taking what the Internet offers, turning it on its ear, and finding a way to help it allow me to succeed and to find "cool opportunities for sponsors to have their messages conveyed via the Internet."

My original blog, "Grab the Wheel" was established the day that my wife and I found out that we were going to have a lovely daughter who has become a focal point and gift not only to us, but to everyone she meets. Jade has been the focus of more blog posts than anyone can count and she and my wife Gloria continue to inspire me in all things, both personally, during my work day, and beyond.

My blogging experience continued when I launched my 24 Blog now 5 years ago, to follow each and every episode of the hit Fox show, "24". Thousands would come weekly to see what I was talking about, to discuss the detailed, outside-the-box bullet points I provided and - it was just so much fun, engaging and allowed me to tell people what I thought about what I saw while watching my favorite television program.

My 24 Blog was ultimately the original seeds of what has become an incredibly successful, vibrant and ultimately therapeutic "2GuysTalking: 24 Podcast" - the most popular and longest-running 24-based podcast on the planet. It has changed literally the way I live my life, has increased the Digital Footprint exponentially for a variety of advertisers over the years and allowed me to construct an original content podcast network of 11 shows that continues to grow.

When I started to promote our shows inside of 24-centric forums and online discussion centers, I would always find that people were initially skeptical and who can blame them, right? After all, it's supposed to all be about "interaction and community" rather than promoting outright what you want people to know, understand or learn about. So I worked out relationships with the various forums and websites to put my informative postings about our 24Podcast.Com episodes into their sites listings and suddenly - ALMOST Nirvana.

Since that day, I've wanted a place that people, in particular bloggers, could share, inform, engage, and PROMOTE the things, experiences and events that they want to.

All of that happens here at Bloggers Bug.

Remember Stuart Adamson - Day 3 of 11

When I tell people that one of my favorite bands over time is Big Country, naturally their thoughts glide to cowboy hats, jeans, boots and twang. While there is much in the way of country music I like, and there may even be some Scottish "twang" in Big Country's music, nothing in that genre could equal what Big Country means for me.

The bottom line is that there is a definitive sense of CULTURE in both country music and in Big Country's music.

While many songs that feature spots of Scottish color in them outright, and very often you can catch a whiff of Scottish brogue when Stuart spoke inside of interviews this entry, a cover of a classic Scottish tune called "Killiecrankie" is easily one of my new favorites. The conviction of his annunciation of the lyric, the golden guitar that is now gone too soon. The definitive bounce in the steps of not only Stuart but his band mates singing a righteous onward-marching song - it's all just wonderfully put together.

Those of you listening to this entry via YouTube that there's something "amiss" with the lyrics (and the volume of the video is reasonably crappy sorry about that). It's because he's not singing in English.

I've included a link to the translation of what's being spoken, as well as the history of the song that should help clear up some of the differences.

You'll also be treated to a great interview with Stuart towards the end on his rendition of this song that has been covered often by every band you can imagine.

Both the interview, and the song and stares of passionate storytelling from Stuart int his video remind me of what a vibrant talent was lost in the latter days of December 2001. You are missed, Stuart, and remembered.

Remember also that the hotlines for both National and International Emotional Support organizations are listed here. If you know friends or family that need help – get it for them. Both the National Hopeline 1-800-784-2433 (For the US, Canada and the UK) and The Befrienders Worldwide (41 countries worldwide) Networks are ready to help.

Where hae ye been sae braw, lad?
Where hae ye been sae brankie-o?
Where hae ye been sae braw, lad?
Cam' ye by Killiecrankie-o?

An' ye had been where I hae been
Ye wadna been sae cantie-o
An' ye had seen what I hae seen
On the braes o' Killiecrankie-o

I fought at land, I fought at sea
At hame I fought my auntie-o
But I met the Devil and Dundee
On the braes o' Killiecrankie-o

The bauld pitcur fell in a furr
And Clavers gat a clankie-o
Or I had fed an Athol gled
On the braes o' Killiecrankie-o

Oh fie, MacKay, What gart ye lie
I' the brush ayont the brankie-o?
Ye'd better kiss'd King Willie's loff
Than come tae Killiecrankie-o

It's nae shame, it's nae shame
It's nae shame to shank ye-o
There's sour slaes on Athol braes
And the de'ils at Killiecrankie-o

Easter - 2010 - What Does Easter Mean to YOU?

Easter is a time of reflection for everyone. Whether you're reflecting on the resurrection of "da lord" or a delectable milk chocolate egg is up for debate this morning.

I can remember every year, since I was four years old, when my Mom would --err, the Easter Bunny would leave little colorful clue cards with sing-songy Easter Goodie Hunt instructions on them. The first would always appear on the dresser in my bedroom. There, every year my Easter adventure would start and after 6 or so cards, and arm-fulls of stuff, the adventure would conclude and I would enjoy my bounty and the ensuing somehow-tolerable stomach ache.

I don't come from a religious family in general so - this has been Easter for me for my entire life. This has followed me into adulthood and the tradition has now transitioned to another Wilkerson, my daughter Jade, who pranced and collected a similar, tasty stack 'o goodies. The difference is that most of them were sugar free. Her smiles are golden, the "hunt" always electric and her zeal is something I always try to encapsulate in just about everything I do in my business and personal lives.

But am I missing a bigger picture? What might religion have to offer the guy that has always believed that Easter Sunday was the day to put on the Sherlock Holmes detective cap to find some sweetened, sguary vittles rather than revel in Jesus' resurrection?

Later this month, I'll be initiating a relationship with St. Joe's Radio - an icon out in California to begin a series of interviews, information-sharing events and more that will help me, Mike Wilkerson, take a look at what value I've perhaps missed with religion in a series I've yet to name yet, but will surely yield some interesting results. I'll be interviewing people from all walks of religious life, from the "normal fatherly dude" like me, to some prominent figures in the entertainment landscape that take time and effort to ensure that religion is peppered into their daily lives.

So let's start a grand and respectful dialog today, Easter morning, 2010:

What value do YOU take from religion?

Remember Stuart Adamson - Day 2 of 11

It's the second of 11 in our series of showcases for former Big Country lead singer and guitarist, Stuart Adamson. Today we head in the direction of a hard-hitting single called "Alone" - another hit from The Buffalo Skinners album, that conveys more stark imagery and driving guitars.

This is yet another single that I'd never heard until just last year.

The ferocity of Stuart's voice in this one is noteworthy as are the lyrics (which I've included below for my Deaf and Hard of Hearing readers). The messages of "being alone" as well as the bend toward detachment and depression - it makes one wonder. Did ANYONE see Stuart's suicide coming?

While we can pull the age-old "they're just lyrics" card on just about anything, what is unmistakable in many of the songs in both tone and literal language is a bold screaming to tell people what's going on. Seems a pretty stark picture accompanied with outstanding, driving music. Again, a very solemn reminder of the tragic end of a very talented man.

As always, the hotlines for both National and International Emotional Support organizations are listed here. If you know friends or family that need help - get it for them. Both the National Hopeline 1-800-784-2433 (For the US, Canada and the UK) and The Befrienders Worldwide (41 countries worldwide) Networks are ready to help.

Lyrics to ALONE from Big Country
From the Album Buffalo Skinners

The mid-day sky was grey and purple
At least it wasn't blue
I want the sky to be the way I am
And what I do
For I have been a lost and lonely
Sailor on your sea
Run aground by trusting signals
You were sending me

The streets are filled with empty faces
Nothing here is new
It's just the same in other places
I have journeyed to
I was the first across the water
The last across the land
I walked out of the silver mine
My pockets full of sand

Alone inside my head
Alone inside my room
I feel alone inside my head
Alone inside my tiny little world

It's not my life in those old pictures
The ones you threw away
For I was always someone else
And always far away
Walking in the darkest places
Where the mission meets
Waiting for the ground to open up
Beneath my feet

Alone inside my head
Alone inside my room
I feel alone inside my head
Alone inside my tiny little world

Alone inside my head
Alone inside my room
I feel alone inside my head
Alone inside my tiny little world

Remember Stuart Adamson - Day 1 of 11

Those of you that haven't had the pleasure of experiencing the music of Stuart Adamson, lead singer of Big Country, should enjoy this series of tributes in prelude to his birthday this month on the 11th.

Stuart headlined a number of bands (Big Country being the most prominent) over the years and had a vocal and guitar skill set that is pretty hard to match. After a hiatus from music from a long time, I eventually discovered not only did Big Country have an even larger library of music than just their original album which has graced my music collection since it arrive in the 80s, but he sadly took his own life in Hawaii in 2001 after a clash with depression, memories and more.

So enjoy my first homage to a man that had so much to offer, that I finally DO get to revel in and share with others. Stuart's birthday would have been on the 11th of April. Stuart, you will be missed, sir.

Here's Big Country, with "SHIPS" in HD no less. I've included the lyrics for my readers in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community as well. Tell me your thoughts and be sure to stop back for more music from a clearly one of a kind character as I continue this series.

Remember also that the hotlines for both National and International Emotional Support organizations are listed here. If you know friends or family that need help - get it for them. Both the National Hopeline 1-800-784-2433 (For the US, Canada and the UK) and The Befrienders Worldwide (41 countries worldwide) Networks are ready to help.

Lyrics to SHIPS from Big Country
From the Album Buffalo Skinners

"Look at him now, another used man
Wearing the passing of his dignity with all the courage that he can
He stood in the storm, carved out in stone
He said I've worn my honesty with pride in everything I've done

So where were you when my ship went down
Where were you when I ran aground
Where were you when I turned it around
Where were you when they burned me down

You see her now, all tired and worn
She never thought her life would come to be so cold or so alone
She walked in the light, fought bondage for love
She said I cast off the chains that I was born with but it never was enough

Chorus

Silent souls washed up on the shores
Left to walk the sands evermore, evermore

Look at you now just chasing your life
Make like the saviour of the planet
You're just trying to get by
Now you may walk the line, you may see it all through
But I know you cry yourself to sleep at night just wondering what to do"
