Too Glourious to Be Used?

Can we just get it out of the way and say that everyone loves a good movie poster? Good, I thought so too! Speaking of which, I've just completed a great article, about THIS, UNUSED poster for the recent Hollywood blockbuster, "INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS" over at ScreenRant.Com! Be sure to visit and chime in via their always-engaging discussion areas and tell them that 2GuysTalking sent you - to talk about the un-used movie poster!

The CLONE WARS Returneth... For a SECOND SEASON!

I think that everyone, everywhere has a favorite STAR WARS moment. Who'd have thought that some of my favorite moments would come 30+ years after the first film was offered? Those of you that are fans and haven't yet found "THE CLONE WARS" on Cartoon Network - are really missing out on something special. In addition to having a podcast - The GalaxyCast Podcast on our network (which features episode by episode review of the series), you should be sure to visit the great news announced recently via an article I wrote for ScreenRant.Com. Be sure to revel in the great news and tell them what YOU think about the developments in this animated visit to the realm of Jedi Knights, and the Dark and Light side of the Force via ScreenRant.Com's discussion section!

The LOST Silhouette Collects Another Figure...

For those of you following LOST, I've just completed a cool short article over at ScreenRant.Com. 2GuysTalking.Com has been pimping Screen Rant for over a year and I was honored to be welcomed aboard their writing staff last month.

Cast additions this late in a series run are always a dice throw, but I have high hopes for this most-recent move by the powers that be. Be sure to read this article and then chime in with your comments over at Screen Rant and tell them that 2GuysTalking sent you!

Nazis GET OWNED! The Top 5 Films...

Nazis. They’re the focus of those seeking justice everywhere and have been put squarely in the cross-hairs of one of Hollywood’s newest offerings, Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Quentin Tarantino. In the film, Pitt governs a cavalcade of Nazi-killing talent, providing us with what could be an end-of-summer hit.

However, Inglourious Basterds wasn’t Hollywood’s first dance with epic Nazi ass-kicking.

Nazis have rightly been the recipients of the cinematic hammer of scorn for years and now is a perfect time to showcase some of the best of the best examples of those evil bastards getting what’s coming to them.

Screen Rant is proud to corral some of the greatest silver-screen titles that feature unforgiving Nazi punishment, as we review the “Top 5 Movies Where Nazis Get OWNED!”

OUTLAND: Not the Penguin Thing - Connery, Space and Grit, Revisited Soon

Grit. Long days in a mine. A sense of somehow restrained lawlessness. A rash of violent deaths. A Marshal taking a stand after finding out that “the company” is responsible for the killings.

It sounds like the makings of a perfect south-Atlantic murder mystery, but it’s actually the outline for a 1981, outer-space-based epic starring Sean Connery (see pic above) that’s about to have new life breathed into it.

Outland offered a great slice of science-fiction wrapped in what (in the future) is supposed to be mundane life on one of the many moons of Jupiter in a “backwater town” but in this case - it was literally out of this world entertainment.

Warner Bros. has green-lit a new incarnation (read: remake) of Outland that intends to present the feature as something much larger than was ever originally planned.

True Teamwork...

Gloria and I celebrated another great couple of landmarks in our relationship recently. We had our 14th Wedding anniversary on the 13th, and our 19th year together on the 15th this month. I am continually impressed with how lucky I am to have her and her demeanor that is always supportive, the first to help, and like so many other things that aren't nearly as important - she continues to fuel me.

Happy Anniversaries again, Honey and thanks for making each and every single August sweeter than the last.

I Have a 1st Grader...

It's been pretty easy to 'cloak' the grey hair. I've been able to drop 40+ pounds in the last year and feel great and able to tackle my always-growing listing of duties both work and family based - but what does one do when you realize that you have a 1st grader in the house? The answer? Take pictures! I snapped this picture after taking Gloria to work and in our short, 8-minute drive, I suddenly realized how much fun Jade had at her first day of 1st grade today.

I know I have fallen asleep at my desk while working into the wee hours, but I can't remember when I fell asleep and was so - ready to be sleeping as Jade is here.

Do YOU have a new back-to-schooler that has recent sawed logs instantly? Tell me YOUR story!
